Due to the foamed core of the material, it guarantees a weight saving of no less than 50% compared to its solid counterparts. The impact-resistant strong plate is easy to work with 'normal' tools. As a poster carrier, Ex-Cel is not limited to indoor spaces, it can also be used outdoors, especially due to the temperature range of -20 to 65 degrees.

Foamed polystyrene sheet is one of the lightest sheets available and extremely good for displays thanks to its great printability. The core of foamed polystyrene and a top layer of 'high impact polystyrene' (HIPS) weighs only 2 kilograms per square metre. Despite its light weight it is still stiff and strong. In addition, it has good weathering properties, which means that it can also be used for outdoor displays. Foam sheet is is often seen as the right choice for economic and ecological reasons.
