Vink Plastics' glazing range of products is used in areas prone to vandalism and where glass breakage may have unpleasant consequences. Think of plastic glazing with virtually unbreakable crystal-clear sheets in school buildings, bus shelters and balcony glazing, but also preventive protection of doors in psychiatric institutions and transparent but strong sector separations in football stadiums. The protection of life and property and the prevention of recurring glass breakage costs are the most important application criteria.
About Acrylic for glazing
As clear as glass but about 25 times stronger and many times lighter. These properties make acrylic sheets extremely suitable for many special applications in the glazing sector. Acrylic sheets offer a safety solution in places where glass shards are absolutely undesirable, offer complete freedom of form as balustrades along stairs and can be found in many different versions for balcony glazing and balcony partitions.
About Polycarbonate for glazing
Polycarbonate distinguishes itself from other plastics by its optical purity in combination with a very high impact resistance. Polycarbonate sheets are as much as 250 times stronger than glass of the same thickness. This unique combination of hardness, impact resistance, weather resistance and transparency makes Polycarbonate particularly suitable for architectural glazing and security applications. Polycarbonate solid sheets are supplied by Vink Plastics in a number of different versions: from standard to super scratch-resistant, from structured to flame-resistant and from breakthrough-resistant to bullet-resistant versions.

About multi-wall polycarbonate for glazing
Vink Plastics stocks a wide range of multi-walled polycarbonate sheets. Raw material and shape make it an economically attractive glazing material with a high insulation value and great strength. In addition to double-walled sheets, three-, four-, five- and six-walled versions are also part of Vink Plastics' package . It can in principle be produced in any desired length. Because the virtually unbreakable plates are light and rigid, large surfaces can be produced with less support. The material is easy to shape and saw and is therefore ideal for non-standard roof glazing in addition to conservatory and veranda roof glazing. From greenhouses to skylights on commercial buildings.
